Position Title: Resident Services Coordinator (RSC)

Compensation: $27.39-$29.69/hour
Schedule: 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday (75 hours bi-weekly)

Key Responsibilities:
1. High Occupancy Rate: Contributes to ensuring a high occupancy rate by arranging viewings with potential residents, completing the move-in process, taking early preventative action when a resident is struggling, collaborating with other departments, and completing the move-out process.
2. Tenancy Management and Resident Communication: Timely response to resident communication, maintaining resident unit files, preparing resident correspondence, creating and tracking payment plans, ensuring effective communication, working with Finance for timely rent collection, and participating in hearings at the Residential Tenancy Branch.
3. Administrative Functions: Undertaking move-ins/move-outs, processing rent/subsidy changes, implementing rent increases, ensuring tenancy agreements are up to date, providing monthly reports, following up on property inspections, cross-training with other departments, and performing other related duties.
Education:
* Secondary school graduation
* Certificate or diploma in Office Administration
Experience:
* A minimum of 2 years related property management experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
* Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
* Ability to operate as part of an interdisciplinary team
* Proficient in MS Office programs
* Knowledge of Yardi Property Management software an asset
Additional Criteria for Role:
* Must have valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle with a minimum of $2 million liability ‘business class’ insurance.
* Current basic First Aid Certificate.
As Pacifica Housing works with vulnerable populations, we require all staff to successfully clear a Vulnerable Sectors Criminal Record Check run by the Ministry of Justice. Any offer of employment is contingent on the applicant providing proof of criminal record check prior to commencing employment.
