Absolute Taste Inflight operates 365 days a year, therefore, the role will be requiring some weekends and some public holidays. The team operates on a rota which is typically published a month before, with a mixture of early and late shifts. All team members are required to work flexibly as changes may be made in order to meet business requirements. Shifts required: 0700-1900 Absolute Taste Inflight have been providing private jet catering and concierge services to executive jets since 2003 and now have kitchens in Oxfordshire and Geneva. With exciting plans for the future, we are now looking for an experienced Operations Assistant, who shares our passion for food, produce and customer service. If you have a keen eye for detail this role is for you As an Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for processing all catering orders using our bespoke online system as well as organising the purchase and collection of all concierge items. As an Operations Assistant you will: Assist the Operations Supervisor in the daily operation for Inflight. Help ensure all flights and hospitalities are delivered on time and with the correct catering to the highest standards Assisting in the confirmation and processing of all Inflight and hospitality orders as per company standards when required Supervising, guiding and assisting the Kitchen and FOH team as necessary Covering emails and phone calls from London on some evenings up to 19:00 in order to confirm orders for the next day. Responding to the demands of the operation as and when required Ensuring effective stock control Ensure all food safety and health and safety paperwork is complete for designated areas. Creating, amending, checking and issuing Inflight and hospitality quotes and orders when required Packing hospitality and Inflight and orders for dispatch and delivering on time and accurately. Receiving incoming telephone calls, assisting clients with queries and amendments Organising the replenishment of packaging and FOH stocks using Procure Wizard. To ensure that all production and associated areas are tidy, clean and hygienic at all times, installing a “clean as you go” practise and ensure all paperwork is complete. Any other reasonable duties as requested by management from time to time Be flexible in working hours, working days and workload – motivating team through busy periods to meet the demands of the business. Carry out office administration, purchasing and submit hospitality invoices. To be conversant with all company codes of conduct The successful candidate will: Have previous experience in a similar role, within a similar environment Be organised and motivated Possess a good command of the English language Be able to work effectively as part of a team Be calm under pressure Have excellent attention to detail Have experience of working in a busy and active role Be flexible in terms of assisting the rest of the team with any other duties that may arise and in terms of hours Be an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) and confident at conversing with clients Be well organised and have experience of prioritising a busy work load If you have experience in working in a similar fast paced environment then please apply now.
