About The Role

As a Business Development Manager for the South East region, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth within the UK education sector. Your primary responsibility will be securing new contracts for our comprehensive cleaning and associated services, helping to create clean, safe, and conducive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and secure new business opportunities within the education sector (schools, colleges, universities) across the South East.
* Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their unique needs and presenting tailored solutions.
* Value Proposition: Clearly communicate the value of Atlas’s cleaning and associated services, showcasing our commitment to quality, reliability, and innovation.
* Collaborative Approach: Work closely with our operational and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
* Cultural Champion: Embody and promote Atlas's core values, contributing positively to our supportive and inclusive culture.
* Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge.
* Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to the Divisional Managing Director.
About You
We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will have a proven track record of success in business development, ideally within the service industry and/or the education sector.
Skills and Experience:
* Demonstrable experience in business development with a focus on winning new business.
* Strong understanding of the sales process and strategic approach to securing contracts.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
* Genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
* Commitment to Atlas’s core values and a desire to contribute positively to our culture.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Good geographical knowledge of the South East region.
