We are now seeking casual Brand Experience Hosts to deliver world-class visitor experiences.
The Role
The Brand Experience Host is the face of Titanic Distillers, playing a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through engaging tours, cocktail masterclasses, premium tastings, and food & beverage service. This role requires an individual with a passion for storytelling, an eye for detail, and the ability to create a truly immersive brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tour & Experience Delivery
1. Conduct engaging, informative, and entertaining guided tours of the Titanic Distillers facility and the historic Thompson Dry Dock.
2. Share the rich history of Belfast’s shipbuilding heritage, the story of Titanic Distillers, and the craft behind our premium spirits.
3. Lead interactive whiskey and spirits tastings, educating guests on flavour profiles, production techniques, and the uniqueness of Titanic Distillers’ offerings.
2. Cocktail Masterclasses & Tastings
1. Deliver engaging and informative cocktail masterclasses, showcasing the versatility of our spirits.
2. Provide hands-on experiences for guests, teaching them the craft of premium cocktails while ensuring a fun and memorable session.
3. Assist in developing innovative and premium serves that elevate the Titanic Distillers experience.
3. Food & Beverage Service
1. Assist in front-of-house food and beverage service, ensuring high standards of hospitality and guest experience.
2. Serve drinks and light food offerings in accordance with licensing and health & safety regulations.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in service areas to reflect the premium nature of the brand.
4. Engage with guests to recommend food and drink pairings that enhance their overall experience.
4. Front of House & Customer Engagement
1. Be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring every guest is warmly welcomed and given a premium experience.
2. Manage bookings, greet guests, and handle queries in a professional and friendly manner.
3. Process transactions efficiently at the distillery retail area and provide recommendations on products.
4. Uphold the highest standards of presentation, ensuring the visitor centre and all touchpoints reflect the premium nature of the brand.
5. Upsell merchandise and Titanic Distillers’ premium spirit range in the distillery shop, maximizing sales opportunities.
6. Provide knowledgeable recommendations and tasting notes to guests, enhancing their purchasing experience.
7. Ensure the shop is consistently stocked with products, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
8. Take responsibility for the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, ensuring it reflects the premium nature of the brand.
9. Represent the brand with professionalism and passion, ensuring every guest’s experience is a positive one.
10. Build strong relationships with guests, encouraging repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth.
11. Maintain a deep knowledge of Titanic Distillers' products, brand history, and industry trends to enhance the visitor experience.
12. Support brand events and promotional activities when required.
Skills & Experience Required
1. Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the tourism, hospitality, or drinks industry.
2. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to engage audiences of all sizes.
3. A passion for premium spirits, with knowledge of whiskey and cocktail-making an advantage (training provided).
4. Experience in food and beverage service, with bar or hospitality background preferred.
5. Confident, personable, and professional demeanour with a natural flair for hospitality.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
7. Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude.
8. Previous experience in hosting tours, tastings, or events is highly desirable.
9. Experience in retail sales and stock management is an advantage.
