Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in Tulliallan. This vacancy is for weekend work on a construction site, and you will undertake duties including access and egress control to the site, managing visitors, monitoring CCTV, completing reports and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing an efficient and effective security service, ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained across the site.
* Managing site access and completing logs where required.
* Conducting regular site patrols, check calls, and reporting incidents.
* Maintaining a high standard of professionalism and security consciousness.
* Ensuring the safety and security of the premises during assigned shifts.
* Responding promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
* Delivering consistently high standards of customer service.
* Promoting and upholding the principles of security in accordance with policies and directives.
* Maintaining logs of messages and the arrival of visitors.
* Adhering to the company’s dress code and wearing the correct uniform.
* Fulfilling health and safety responsibilities by adhering to company policies and management plans.
* Complying with company policies, management plans, and procedures.
About You:
* Previous experience in a busy security role.
* Strong people and customer service skills.
* Effective communication skills.
* A drive to succeed by working as part of a close-knit team.
* Enthusiasm, a proactive attitude, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service.
* Well-presented, punctual, and focused on attention to detail.
* A criminal record check, employment history, and Right to Work check.
* SIA license is a requirement.
* Driving license is required.
* Must be able to pass Level 3 Police Vetting and hold an SIA badge.
