With an exciting road-map for 2025 and beyond, new investment and sustainable growth as the business rolls out its national plan, we need an organised and ambitious Hire Controller to join the Hire Desk. This is a key position in ensuring the rentals are tracked, processed and returned in line with company standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the scheduling and allocation of hire equipment - meeting all customers requirements and ensuring best service at all times.
* Advise and support customers, manage enquiries and quotes, secure bookings and be a reliable expert for all their needs.
* Process hire orders accurately.
* Track and monitor the availability of stock.
* Oversee the maintenance of all equipment and flag any damage or maintenance issues.
* Coordinate all the logistics required for the smooth delivery and collection of equipment.
* By keeping accurate records, generate reports for the management teams.
* Cross checking all equipment against stringent health, safety and compliance standards.
* Being passionate about delivering excellent customer service, preempt any challenges and mitigate risks.
* Record all transactions, ensure they are in accordance with IMS processes.
To Be Successful:
* Previous experience in hire control position, ideally within the accommodations or similar sector.
* Exceptionally organised and able to juggle multiple priorities.
* The natural ability to perform under pressure in a fast paced environment.
* Good understanding of Health & Safety standards and regulations within the hire industry.
* Naturally solutions focussed.
