Takeaway Manager Restaurant Runner provides restaurant-quality fresh food for guests to have delivered to their accommodation during their stay. TAKEAWAY MANAGER | circa £41,800 per annum We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead the operations of Restaurant Runner, a delivery-only restaurant offering multiple cuisines. You will be responsible for ensuring the restaurant runs efficiently in line with company strategy, objectives, standards, policies and financial targets. This includes managing daily operations, supporting cooklines and managing a small fleet of delivery vehicles. As a leader, you will inspire and develop your team, fostering a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with food hygiene, allergen regulations and health and safety standards. You will also be responsible for delivering a fantastic guest experience, working closely with other departmental leaders and maintaining full commercial accountability for the unit. Additionally, you will manage your team’s work schedules, holiday, absence and performance to ensure they consistently meet company standards. You will support with facilitating and developing a culture that promotes and encourages the general wellbeing, motivation, and morale of your team, whilst ensuring effective performance management strategies are in place and your team are actively contributing towards this. HOURS OF WORK Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Essential requirements: Proven track record in running a food and beverage operation and leading a kitchen team, including strong influencing skills Strong financial awareness – with responsibility for financial delivery and business planning A good level of computer literacy and analytical skills Experience of back of house systems for stock management and ordering Knowledge of multiple cuisine types Previous experience in a large organisation with full management responsibility for a kitchen and its team Experience in training and developing a kitchen team Have a motivational approach towards colleagues and work Empathetic and supportive approach to leading a team Able to coach individuals to be accountable for their own performance Desirable requirements Running or assisting a delivery operation ABOUT THE BENEFITS Center Parcs is a fantastic place to work and the benefits are as impressive as they are unique.
