Overview of role
Location: Stockport
As a Logistics Adminsitrator you will be responsible for ensuring the debrief of all drivers is completed in full for the Transport department. You
will also provide administrative support where necessary to the management team.
Key Accountabilities
• Debriefing all drivers on return to depot, ensuring all questions are answered and all
necessary paperwork is returned.
• Checking all POD’s required are accurate and comply with the standards and verifying that all
adjustments are processed accurately.
• Use of telematics tracking system to assist with day to day operation.
• Processing of collection notes – Printing in preparation and checking upon return to site.
• Recording of basket information into Excel.
• Ensuring all driver tachograph cards are downloaded.
• Engaging with drivers to find root cause of losses.
• Working with Customer Contact Department to resolve complaints/issue within time frame.
• Use of POD’s to investigate customer claims through dispute system.
• Collating reports (e.g. losses reports, Outstanding delivery/collection notes reporting) when
necessary, i.e. daily, weekly or periodically.
• Analysis of reports to be provided to relevant people.
• Providing any necessary admin support required by the Logistics Management Team.
The Right Person
• PC Literate – including working ability with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word • Numerate & literate
• Previous Transport experience is desirable – including exposure to tachographs, WTD, etc.
• Previous experience in a busy administrative role is desirable.
• Educated to GCSE level (min. 5 GCSE grade A*-C or equivalent). • Self motivated to drive results.
