Your Mission
The Social Media Manager will develop and deliver the social media and influencer strategy along with the Head of Performance Marketing. You will be responsible for growing Wowcher and LivingSocial’s presence across social media, whilst increasing engagement across key social platforms. You’ll also own influencer strategy, and monitor paid social agency relations with the time spent approximately, 55% organic, 30% influencer and 15% paid.
Social media activities include owning organic social media, overseeing a social media assistant to create fun and engaging social content, increasing our social media following and engagement, designing and promoting events, aligning social messaging with business goals and events. You’ll also be managing a paid social agency alongside the head of performance marketing, aligning strategy with organic.
Our influencer program has ramped up in the last year to become a key revenue driver in our marketing mix. Our goal is to continue growing this channel, so alongside an influencer assistant; you’ll apply your previous influencer experience to set the strategy, increase revenue and implement new tests to grow this successful channel.
Your Quests Include:
* Own the social media strategy across organic and influencer, with the assistance of 2 direct reports; influencer assistant and social media assistant.
* You will have strong analytical skills and be confident demonstrating performance of both the organic and influencer programmes; taking action to grow the channel.
* You’ve got previous experience growing brand advocacy through social channels, with a focus on creative, engagement and audience strategy.
* Establish networks of brand ambassadors through influencer marketing and collaborative projects.
* Liaise closely with Wowcher’s Social Customer Services team as needed.
* Monitor trends in social media broadly, and within the brand community specifically, to ensure the brand remains adaptive; keep managers up to speed with developments.
* Support the management of our paid media agency to deliver key KPIs, such as ROI, CPL and LTV through paid ads.
Technical Skills Required:
* Candidates must have influencer campaign management experience (agency or brand side).
* Must have experience with designing, creating and executing engaging social media content for e-commerce/retail brands. Ideally 3+ years.
* Knowledge of all social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube.
* Experience in using Socialbakers/Emplifi would be preferable but not essential.
* Experience managing a paid social agency relationship, or setting up paid social ads is beneficial but not essential.
* Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar preferable but not essential.
* Experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Super organised: we have lots of deals in different business verticals, so you will need to be able to manage your time effectively to make sure you reach all your goals.
* Keen to learn: you’ll need to be sharp-minded and quick on the uptake, trends and news move fast in digital.
