Salary: The starting salary will be from £42,882 to £45,413 on Grade F, depending on qualifications and experience.
Contractual hours: 36.5
Package: Generous holiday allowances, flexible working, pension scheme.
This new full-time post is available immediately on a 1-year fixed term basis.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

The role:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading in the IT project management of the implementation of IT Projects, including the new Curriculum Management system. You’ll join an expanding IT Project Management Office (PMO) and work across the university directly with colleges and service leads to provide the assurance of project outcome delivery, ROI and timeframes. The project sits in a high-profile programme aimed exclusively at enhancing our education delivery for students and our people. This is a core part of our wider Digital Programme which aims to facilitate improvements across the University including but not limited to equipping our people with the right digital skills.
You:
You’ll be successful in this role if:
* You have experience and genuine passion / interest in delivering IT and Digital organisational change
* You have experience of previously implementing Curriculum Management systems and/or IT system transformations
* Have demonstrable experience of user led design thinking. Putting a customer/user at the heart of project delivery to ensure success
* Be capable of recognising links and interdependencies across a large scale and diverse organisation
* Experience across a variety of project delivery methods (including waterfall and agile)
* You have excellent communication skills, and an ability to stand up positive relationships quickly. Gaining traction and support even when working remotely
* Able to manage vendor/third party relationships effectively on their projects; Experience of procurement and contracting.
* You employ organisation skills to effectively manage and balance attention to detail, accuracy and working at pace
* You have demonstrable experience and / or certification on project and programme management controls and processes including fiscal management and benefit tracking
