Job Summary:
We are currently representing a role on behalf of our client who is a market-leading UK manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service. They are entering an exciting phase of growth after central changes within the business in recent years and are looking to appoint a UK Sales Manager to lead and develop their national sales team.
Main Duties:
1. Lead and develop a national team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
2. Execute a structured sales strategy aligned with the company's wider growth objectives.
3. Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, including specification-based sales.
4. Monitor sales performance through KPIs, pipeline analysis, and team reviews.
5. Collaborate closely with internal departments (marketing, customer service, technical) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Person Specification:
1. Demonstrable success in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
2. Strong understanding of specification sales within the construction or industrial markets.
3. Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
4. Commercially astute with excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
