The Role You’ll lead and manage membership recruitment across Mid-England, South East Asia and Africa. Develop and implement strategies to grow and support our professional membership. You will build strong relationships with employers, universities and industry stakeholders. Ensure high standards of service for current and prospective members. You’ll travel within the UK and internationally to support membership growth. You’d be reporting directly into the Director Membership Recruitment Duties & Responsibilities Develop and execute a membership growth strategy for your designated regions. You’ll provide leadership and direction to the Membership Recruitment Team for your designated regions. Engage with employers and industry leaders to promote professional qualification. Support members in achieving professional recognition and career advancement. You’ll deliver presentations to promote civil engineering careers and professional development. Monitor and report on membership recruitment performance and key metrics. Ensure compliance with membership standards and training requirements. Manage budgets and financial planning to support membership activities. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance member engagement and retention. You’ll represent the organisation at industry events, conferences and professional reviews. What We're Looking for in You? You’ll have a proven leadership experience in membership recruitment or business development. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Strategic thinking with a results-driven approach to membership growth. Experience in the civil engineering or built environment sector is highly desirable. You’ll be able to manage budgets and deliver cost-effective membership initiatives. You’d have the willingness to travel. A degree or equivalent professional experience in civil engineering or related discipline is highly desirable. You’d have Corporate membership of the ICE or an equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
