An exciting opportunity has arisen for newly qualified General Practitioners to join Shrewsbury PCN. We are a dynamic, and forward thinking PCN, who are passionate about developing and delivering excellent quality local services to meet the needs of our patients.
Following the recent changes in the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) to introduce General Practitioners, we are looking to expand our PCN team by seeking to employ newly qualified (within 2 years and not having had a substantive post) General Practitioners to work alongside our practices and PCN staff.
This will be a supportive role, and is especially designed to help newly qualified GPs transition in to a salaried job in general practice. You will have a tailored and supportive induction to our PCN and member practices, all training and supervision requirements will be met and you will be working as part of an engaged and motivated workforce.
The funding for this role is currently guaranteed until March 2025, until further guidance from NHSE is published.
