Our two-year programme is designed to provide you with the skills and experience to help you progress your career and contribute to Arbuthnot Latham’s continuing success. It will be delivered in on-the-job learning which aligns to your level 4 Apprenticeship course, overviews from other parts of the Bank, exposure to Senior Leaders and opportunities to work on projects. On successful completion of the programme, your training, experience and your Level 4 external qualification will set you with excellent career prospects.
The programme is designed for students completing A level or equivalent education in 2024 or 2025 looking for their first professional role.

The successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK. The apprenticeship will start on 1st September 2025.
Role Description
The Apprentice Test Analyst will contribute to the delivery of a consistent Testing service across all Platform programmes, projects and releases. This will cover all phases of testing, incorporating the fundamental Test life-cycle activities of Test Analysis, Test Case scripting and Test Execution.
To place the interests of customers at the centre of all activities, act in a way that is consistent with achieving good outcomes for consumers; and to comply with the FCA and PRA's Conduct Rules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake core Test activities such as Test scripting, Test execution and Test reporting
* Support Test Management activities such as Test planning, and supporting the creation, analysis, quality assurance and triage of defects
* Understand and implement (via learning and development) the best practice utilisation of the Azure DevOps Change Delivery, Test Planning and Defect Management application
* Gain understanding of Release & Environment management activities, and where applicable contribute
* Analyse data produced as a result of the testing process to form Management Information (MI) which in turn will feed into reporting
* Write, execute and perform gap analysis of test cases
* Understand the purpose of core standard Test documents and deliverables, and contribute to or produce such deliverables where required
* Contribute to tasks within the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) such as:
o Static Testing
o Dynamic Testing
o Test Planning
o Test scope analysis
o Test Data Analysis and specification
o Understanding and interpreting Systems Architecture diagrams
o Producing core Test deliverables and documents:
+ Test Cases
+ Test Plan
+ Defects
+ Test Completion reports
* Use software testing and defect management tooling (ADO) in order to provide information to all interested parties, relating to the quality of new or modified application/system changes
* Participate in training and awareness of the STLC (Software Testing Lifecycle) and the related approaches and deliverables to all phases of Testing within the Change Management Framework
* Participate in Test Automation training to gain a foundation in understanding the benefits of Test Automation, and its place in the e2e Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
