HR Consultant (Full or Part-Time) - Sheffield - £27k - £30k + excellent benefits
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced HR generalist to join our HR consultancy team.
Working in a collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to develop long-lasting client relationships with a variety of clients from a diverse range of sectors.
As a HR advisor, you'll work closely with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their organisational objectives and culture. You will be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels of our clients’ organisations, assessing risk and providing expert support and guidance in a wide range of employee relations matters.
Responsibilities include:
1. Developing and enhancing excellent client relationships to ensure timely and high-quality HR advice is always maintained.
2. Maintaining and developing an in-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
3. Creating and/or developing employee handbooks and policies that are legally compliant and tailored to the client’s needs.
4. Producing high-quality, legally compliant documentation promptly.
5. Advising clients on a wide range of HR-related scenarios including support for investigations, disciplinary or grievance procedures, and organisational change.
The ideal person will have:
1. At least 2 years’ experience working in a HR consultancy role.
2. Proven experience managing relationships and advising on HR-associated matters (grievance, disciplinary, performance management, etc.).
3. A good understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
4. The ability to work with a diverse range of clients, to build relationships and become a trusted advisor.
5. The capability to provide commercial advice that translates HR theory or employment legislation into workable recommendations for our clients by assessing risk and understanding our client’s business objectives.
6. Ideally, CIPD qualified or willing to work towards the qualification.
