Purpose
As we increase the number of onboarded properties and move to a more digital sourcing environment, this role will be key in supporting the onboarding of our venue partners onto the various integrations available and helping them with the transition from manual to automated sourcing. The role will involve liaising with the Product Integrations Manager, Tech Team, Spabeaks Product Managers, and our venue partners to ensure we maximise all opportunities from our connected partners.
An important part of the role will be to troubleshoot connectivity related issues that arise internally or with the connected venue. As well as performing daily audits, to ensure that all rates and availability is returning correctly through the integrations and replenishing to the applicable packages on the Spabreaks.com website. The role will also include supporting the Head of Commercial Projects with business day to day commercial opportunities, development improvements and supporting inventory initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Work with the Product & Integrations Manager on the sourcing strategy to manage the transition to a digitally connected environment and the optimum way to source our partners’ product.
* Working with our new integration partners to ensure the quickest and most efficient onboarding process for our hotels and spas.
* Communicating with our integrated hotel and spa partners, solving any issues and ensuring a smooth transition to sale.
* Working with the Product Managers to engage their contacts and ensure that all products are connected accurately.
* Maximising the opportunity with existing connectivity partners, i.e. Premier Core and Siteminder, to ensure we have as many connected partners as possible and to extract the maximum value from these existing connections.
* Setting up new hotels in the Spabookers system along with their room codes and rate plans, ready for the venue to push availability.
* Spot checking that we have good levels of availability at all connected properties including key dates and weekends.
* Ensuring our control spreadsheets are up to date and that all packages and venues are replenishing correctly
* Supporting the sales team, ensuring that they have the tools they need to convert bookings and information on available connections and products on the in-house Spabookers platform
* Work with the Head of Product on current commercial projects and support business timelines
* Supporting the Admin team during busy periods, by carrying out allocation adjustments, pulling booking lists for venues and creation of new packages in the admin system
Requirements
* Experience or knowledge of XML connections and contracting product via various sources, including channel managers, bed banks and direct contracts
* Strong delivery focus, excellent attention to detail, having the tenacity and resilience required to flourish in a pressurised and constantly evolving environment
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are required when troubleshooting and ensuring that we have the correct rates pulling through and there are no issues with the connections
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Confident in holding meetings with suppliers to explain our connectivity solutions
* The ability to multi-task
* IT literate with a good knowledge of Excel / Google Worksheets
* Excellent team player
* Experience in the travel or spa industry is advantageous
