The TUI Airline Finance function operates as a multi-disciplinary team of experts driving efficiency and innovation. As Finance Analyst – Airline Operations you will support the Finance Manager –Airline Operations with the provision of financial information and provide business partnering support to the Airline Operations and SM&P teams. You will be required to analyse and evaluate data, prepare forecasts & budgets and support an accurate month end close process through collaboration with the AOC & FP&A teams. You will be required to support the delivery and tracking of cost base initiatives by providing the data to allow business partners to make fact-based decisions. A key part of the role will be turning data into insight and standardising the processes within the Airline Operations cost base across the five group airlines. ABOUT THE JOB: As Finance Analyst – Airline Operations you’ll: Assist in the delivery of the TUI Airline month end, forecast, budget and 3YP process for the Airline Operations cost base Support the harmonisation of activities and processes within your area of finance to ensure a consistent function led approach. Working in close collaboration with FP&A and Airpas teams to ensure consistency and commonality across the regions. Provide business partnering support to the Airline Operations key stakeholders Contribute data and insight to the Airline Operations KPI and reporting packs (working with the FP&A team) to enable functional business partnering and monitor cost base performance. Support the culture of strong financial controls, compliance, and adherence to regulatory frameworks; ensuring adherence to governance mechanisms for investments and capital expenditure Promoting a culture of risk awareness, control focus, and ‘doing the right thing’ Support specific adhoc project activities ABOUT YOU: Part / nearly qualified accountant or ideally a university degree in business administration or similar, preferably with a focus on finance or controlling, and a couple years of experience working in finance/controlling A self-starter with strong problem solving skills Ability to meet tight deadlines Strong organizational skills Good analysis and presentational skills Ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills (both written and oral) Experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-channel consumer environment Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written, and may involve some international travel LI-LF1 SECURITY CLEARANCE STATEMENT At TUI, safety is our top priority.
