Job Title: Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Engineers with a strong background in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) engineering to contribute to key infrastructure projects. The role requires expertise in working on substations, designing and interpreting detailed general arrangement drawings and layouts, as well as excellent documentation skills.
Responsibilities
* Attend substations and contribute to the design, review, and understanding of detailed general arrangement drawings and layouts.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for project deliverables.
* Demonstrate a detailed understanding of telecoms virtual logic systems and ensure compliance with CDM 2015 requirements.
* Identify and assess risks associated with asbestos in project areas (eg, during metalwork for cable attachment).
* Collaborate effectively with the design team to resolve issues and refine project components, such as metalwork solutions.
* Work closely with Project Engineers, especially those with IT and virtual experience, to ensure project coherence and technical alignment.
Essential Skills
* Strong Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) engineering background .
* Competence in reading and designing technical drawings and layouts.
* Proven experience in risk identification and assessment, including asbestos-related risks.
* Familiarity with CDM 2015 regulations.
* Valid 18th Edition Certificate (mandatory).
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
