Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing credit control and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and an understanding of financial principles to support our accounting department effectively.
Responsibilities
* Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
* Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software such as Sage and Vigo.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
* Liaise with vendors and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments.
* Support the month-end closing process by reconciling accounts and preparing necessary documentation.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding financial transactions.
* Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and filing of financial documents.

Requirements
* Proven experience in an accounts administration role or similar position.
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage50.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills within the finance domain.
