We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team and help empower our students with special educational needs. Key Responsibilities: Support the classroom teacher in delivering tailored learning experiences for students with special educational needs. Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt resources as necessary. Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students, fostering independence and confidence. Monitor and record student progress, reporting any concerns to the teaching staff. Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom. Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists and special education staff, to ensure a cohesive approach to student support. Qualifications: Experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred). Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or special education (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification). Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
