Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide support to individuals in various settings, including home, care facilities, assisted living environments, communities, day centres and education setting. Your primary focus will be to enhance the quality of life for those you support by offering support, companionship, assistance with daily activities and helping them do the extraordinary every day. Duties Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Prompt clients to do their own personal care on a daily basis. Support clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety during transport. Provide specialised care for clients using using tailored approaches to meet their unique needs. Qualifications Previous experience working with individuals who are neuro diverse including Autism and ADHD is preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid driving licence is REQUIRED for transporting clients when necessary (mileage will be paid) Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
