THE BUSINESS
Our client is a component supplier to the energy transition market and is aiding the evolution of key clients into the renewables space. The organisation has a long-standing history in the region and low attrition rates, with the majority of employees receiving long service awards. This is a high-tech facility employing around 200 staff. The organisation supports energy transition and has strong demand for its products within emerging markets, operating on principles of fairness, support, trust, and mutual respect. The company’s products are sold globally, and within this organisation, you will be treated as an individual, holding autonomy in decision-making while being part of a close-knit team driving the business forward.
THE ROLE
* Working effectively within a team.
* Industrial/domestic wiring.
* Hydraulic and Pneumatic Control Systems.
* Overhead Cranes & associated safety systems.
* PLC's, primarily Allen Bradley and Siemens.
* Expertise with AC and DC motor/gearbox drive systems of various configurations.
* Variable speed motor control with inverters and converters, including speed feedback devices.
THE PERSON
* Completed an electrical apprenticeship.
* Experience in a multi-skilled environment within heavy engineering manufacturing.
* A systematic approach to problem-solving.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge and use of computer-based maintenance software.
