Job Description:
Under broad direction, oversees and performs activities related to 3D CAD coordination, management, and system administration. Responsibilities include system setup, administration, maintenance, ensuring project deliverables from models, and compliance with standards. Coordinates with Engineering Systems support for CAD issues and develops management plans, specifications, and procedures. Supports the development of 3D Multi-discipline SMARTPLANT S3D models.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage SMARTPLANT S3D 3D model, system administration, user support, and clash management.
* Provide multi-discipline CAD coordination and support.
* Develop CAD management policies, plans, and procedures.
* Develop 3D model hierarchy and naming conventions aligned with project requirements.
* Prepare detailed work instructions and ensure successful CAD activities.
* Maintain and improve CAD management processes and tools.
* Coordinate with multi-office CAD teams regularly.
* Support software deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
* Interface with data management for model progress and data flow.
* Support 3D model object engineering and reporting.
* Manage clash detection and reporting.
Experience/Technical Skills:
* Extensive 3D CAD management experience in Oil & Gas or large engineering projects.
* System setup, configuration, and user support experience.
* Degree or equivalent industry experience.
* Experience with SMARTPLANT S3D, Navisworks, and related tools.
* Knowledge of deliverable setup, isometric production, and model review coordination.
