As a Site Lead you will be expected to provide a supportive environment for sonographers and support workers, managing their day-to-day roles, dealing with the daily service needs and problem solving. You will be expected to support participation and leadership of the centrally registered audit and continuous improvement programmes. Main duties of the job The post holder will act as a Site Lead Ultrasound Manager in a job share with the existing Site Lead Manager and will be responsible for managing and upholding a safe and effective Ultrasound Imaging Service. The post holder will mainly undertake managerial duties but on occasions may be required to take on a clinical role. They will provide regular feedback and work with the other Site modality Lead Ultrasound Managers on compliance with key performance indicators for this service and will provide supervision and specialist advice and expertise to the ultrasound team of Sonographers, Students, and support workers, in addition to the wider multi-disciplinary team.
