The Ambassadors Bloomsbury is small Boutique independent hotel with 100 bedrooms located in central London.
Ideally you will have a hotel background within a 4 star London Hotel and have experience of working with Opera PMS as well as being well versed with GDS. The right person would be enthusiastic and positive in their nature as well as having the flexibility to work within a small team within an independent Hotel as well as being creative with their ideas.
Key responsibilities
-Taking reservations calls and replying to email inquiries - Excellent communication skills and telephone manner- Confident and warm personality- Highly detailed approach and excellent knowledge of all aspects of business groups demands- Managing the Reservations Department to meet and exceed budgeted targets- Monitoring revenues, identify areas of concern and build an approach to maximize revenue and occupancy - Managing and update all relevant Revenue tools, PMS and third party websites- Managing the daily availability in order to maximize revenues- Understand the competitive marketplace, build a strategic approach to manage trends and yield- Workwith the Front Office Manager & Director of Sales to implement a strategic sales plan- Good organisational and administrative skills- Superb attention to detail- Develop your team to ensure the constant delivery of excellent Guest and customer service.
The ideal candidate - Have previous experience with a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role within a four star hotel.- Good Knowledge of managing 3rd party websites and GDS systems- Strong Revenue and Yield Management Knowledge- Communicate effectively in English both spoken and written- Have a friendly, flexible and professional attitude- Be motivated and trustworthy
