A qualification in Radiography is a minimum requirement for this role, and surface methods such as MPI/DPI are desirable but not essential.
As a Radiographer with Stork UK, you will have the opportunity to work across our ever-growing portfolio of clients, both onshore UK-wide and offshore. When not mobilised to a client site for work, you will have the opportunity to support the technical team and subject matter experts with R&D projects, development of techniques, documentation, and assessment of new technologies by way of trials and attending open days.
This role requires you to bring hands-on experience of radiography operations but also have a mindset for the expansion and growth of not only Stork but your own knowledge and abilities.
Job Description: Radiographer with Stork
To support the overall delivery of the Group’s business objectives by providing high standards of inspection execution to the STS Client base. Responsible for carrying out non-destructive examination works utilizing the required techniques in accordance with relevant company and/or client supplied procedures/acceptance criteria.
Tasks and Responsibilities as Radiographer
Testing
1. Carrying out Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in accordance with relevant regulations/legislation and approved company procedures.
2. Performing NDT techniques in accordance with relevant specifications and company procedure.
3. Interpreting and evaluating results according to applicable standards, codes, or specifications.
4. Carrying out and supervising all tasks at or below level 2.
5. Performing research and development tasks supporting the Technical Team.
6. Supporting and liaising with clients.

Reporting
1. Interpretation of Radiographs, both digital and conventional.
2. Completing inspection reports.
3. Compiling accurate reports compliant with the appropriate standards and specifications.
4. Providing information on risks and mitigation actions in general, and specifically with regards to occupational health.

Specific Requirements for the Radiographer
Education & Experience
1. ISO 9712 (PCN / CSWIP) Qualification in Radiography as a minimum.
2. Previous experience in an NDT or Inspection role.
3. ISO 9712 (PCN / CSWIP) Qualification in surface methods, e.g. MPI/DPI.
Experience and Skills
1. Experience in a similar role within the industry (O&G, Petrochemical, Power Generation, etc.).
2. Relevant industry experience with methods that are held (fabrication, in-service, etc.).
3. Experience working to different client specifications and national/international standards.
4. Knowledge of the range of services Stork provides to the client.
5. Experience using document management systems and proficient use of MS Office packages.
6. Relevant experience in order to attain further NDT qualifications.
Additional Requirements
1. Offshore/onshore travel away from Aberdeen as required.
