Our client, a leading Sports Equipment Manufacturer based in Surrey, are looking to recruit a money-driven, personable Business Development Manager to join their growing team. Based in a fun, sociable office, with the ability to travel to and meet clients across the UK, this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate.
Our client have been established for 25 years, and supply sports equipment to a range of clubs/teams across the country, ranging from grassroots to professional level. Due to their growth, they are now seeking the right candidate to join their client-facing BD team, generating new business opportunities and closing both ad-hoc sales/long-term contracts. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
1. Making outbound contact to potential new clients
2. Meeting clients in person/over video, selling the company's equipment solutions
3. Negotiating contracts and closing individual/ad-hoc deals
4. Managing accounts of clients once closed, ensuring a fantastic working relationship (and future spend/growth)
5. Exceeding sales targets
In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:
1. Experience of managing sales process from start to finish
2. Experience in negotiating contracts
3. Proven track record in exceeding sales targets
4. Money-driven / eager to earn additional commission
5. Fun, sociable personality
6. Interest in sports
7. Full, clean UK driving licence
