Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an experienced Accountant to join an Accountancy Practice with offices in central Harrogate (fully office based).
Reporting to the Senior Manager and managing a portfolio of clients your responsibilities will include:
What will you be doing?
1. Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Ltd companies.
2. General bookkeeping duties.
3. Preparing corporate and personal tax returns.
4. Liaising with HMRC.
5. Payroll.
6. Preparing and reviewing VAT returns.
7. Managing client relationships and dealing with queries.
What skills are we looking for?
1. PQ/Qualified ACCA / ACA / AAT qualified.
2. Experience of working within an Accountancy Practice and managing a portfolio of clients.
3. Knowledge of Sage 50, Xero, and QuickBooks is advantageous.
4. Strong attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
