Our New Business & Net Zero sector exists to increase and accelerate the impact of British Gas in the energy transition in UK homes and we have an exciting opportunity for a Hive Commercial Manager – Growth Lead, who will be accountable for the performance and delivery of profitable Hive product sales across internal channels.
Reporting to the Head of Hive - Internal propositions, the role holder will have an excellent opportunity to build on their vital commercial skills to deliver sustainable improvements in financial results, as well as data analytics to deliver great customer experiences.
About the role:
* Implement a relentless focus on our internal channels to maximise the collaboration and Centrica cross-selling opportunities to our c.10m British Gas customers.
* Maintain a deep understanding of competitor strategies and customer behaviour in products & propositions, applying insights into the deployment of channel strategy.
* Design, develop and deliver internal sales plans and campaigns for areas such as service & repair, heating installs, energy, contact centres.
* Full ownership of channel sales, forecasts and performance.
* Develop a strategy that will enable partnership & curiosity across business units to create customer benefit and retention for Centrica.
* Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to drive the necessary interventions to deliver and exceed against key planned objectives.
Here's what we're looking for:
* Inquisitive with experience in campaigns or propositions, with a desire for keeping our customers at the centre.
* Creative and problem-solving skills to overcome barriers with solutions to deliver against agreed outcomes.
* Relentless focus on delivering market-leading commercial performance and strategic growth and retention.
* Strong analytical ability to interpret customer insights and develop relevant, tailored propositions.
* A passion to deliver sustainable growth across the Net Zero sector.
* Overall Centrica understanding and commercial awareness would be beneficial.
* Experience of driving performance would be advantageous, although not essential.
