Role Overview:
As an Early Career Teacher, you will have the chance to gain valuable experience in a variety of secondary school settings. You will work alongside experienced educators, receive mentorship, and support, and have the opportunity to develop your teaching skills while making a difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities as an ECT:
Collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the primary school curriculum.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and social-emotional development of students.
Engaging in reflective practice and professional growth opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and classroom effectiveness.
Requirements for an ECT:
Recently qualified as a teacher or currently completing teacher training (PGCE, QTS, etc.)
Enthusiasm for teaching and a desire to learn and grow as an educator.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
