Position Overview As a UX Writer at Vonage, you will be responsible for crafting clear, concise, and user-centered copy across our product suite. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to create content that enhances user experience, making our products more intuitive and easier to use. You’ll ensure that the voice and tone of the content align with Vonage’s brand and UX standards. What you will do: Write clear, concise, and engaging content for UI elements, including buttons, labels, tooltips, error messages, and onboarding flows. Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure content supports the overall product design and user experience. Develop and maintain a consistent voice and tone across all products, ensuring alignment with Vonage’s brand. Conduct content audits and user research to understand user needs and optimize content for clarity and ease of use. Create and maintain style guides, content guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency in product content. Work closely with localization teams to ensure content is effectively translated and culturally relevant for global users. Test and iterate on content through A/B testing, user feedback, and analytics to ensure effectiveness. Advocate for the user by ensuring content is designed with accessibility and inclusivity in mind. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of help and support documentation, FAQs, and other user-facing content What you will bring: 3 years of experience in UX writing, technical writing, or content strategy, preferably in a digital product environment. Strong portfolio showcasing examples of UX writing, including in-app content, microcopy, and UI text. Excellent writing and editing skills, with a focus on clarity, brevity, and tone. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and engineers. Experience conducting user research to inform content decisions. Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and best practices for writing inclusive content. Familiarity with tools like Figma, Google Docs, or other writing and design platforms.
