Our Property and Asset Management team comprises of 25 team members. The team provides dedicated Property, Asset and Facilities Management consultancy to investors throughout the UK and across all asset classes (apart from Residential Properties). The team is committed to providing our clients with creative and practical solutions and options.
This role primarily consists of property management responsibilities and also incorporates some minor asset management responsibilities.
This role will take responsibility for all aspects of an allocated portfolio of commercial properties. You will take responsibility for the reporting, invoice approval, planning and executing of the property budget. There will be significant high-level budget and costcontrol responsibilities. Your responsibility extends to identifying opportunities to improve and protect value for an allocated portfolio of commercial properties across a range of clients, with differing needs and requirements. The portfolio will be geographically and sector diverse and will include all asset classes.
Main responsibilities
* Manage and oversee the daily operations of property portfolios including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
* Develop and implement asset management strategies aimed at maximizing property value and income.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
* Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for asset performance and propose improvements or corrective actions as necessary.
* Negotiate contracts, leases, and agreements with tenants, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
* Coordinate with maintenance and service teams to address tenant issues and property repairs promptly.
* Analyse market trends to identify investment opportunities and potential risks.
* Maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing concerns, and enhancing tenant retention.
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders to communicate progress and address any queries regarding property management activities.
About you
* Proactive in building relationships and is responsive to all stakeholders
* Experience in Property Management is essential
* Experience of liaising with multi-level stakeholders including clients, professional team, lenders and investors
* Thorough understanding of commercial leases, in particular landlord and tenant legislation
* Understanding of commercial property management, i.e. service charges
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Good numerical skills, including computer literacy (Excel, Word, MS Outlook)
* Strong negotiating skills
* High level of organisational and administrative skills
* Able to fit in with a diverse work team.

Working Hours
Our hybrid working policy outlines staff to be in the office for 3 days per week, with 2 days working from home. In our London offices, our desk booking app allows you to plan ahead, and book your desk up to 2 weeks ahead. We also offer great flexibility around our core hours, which are from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. You can choose to start and end your day around these hours, provided you still do your 7.25 hours per day (e.g. 8.00 am – 4.30pm, 10.00 am – 6.30 pm). There is no requirement for this to be the same each day, but you are required to keep your manager informed. This position also involves out of hours working on an ‘as necessary’ basis. We are open to considering flexible working arrangements for everyone; this can be discussed during the application process or upon commencement.
