Business Development Manager for a multi - site, global Logistics company who are building a sales super team.\nDescribed as the fastest growing Logistics company in the UK. \n\nNorth East territory\n\nBusiness Development Manager MUST have sold Air, Road & Sea Freight for a Freight Forwarder.\n\nAir Freight & Sea Freight sales experience essential\nAbility to bring business, clients, contacts will be a distinct advantage.\n\nPackage :\n\n£30K - £50K + 10% commission for life time of account\nCar allowance\nPrivate Health Care\n33 days holiday\nEmployee benefits\n\nThis role offers a completely flexible working arrangement. Newcastle / North East location is important,\n\nThe Role:\n\nAchieve new business sales targets by developing relationships with new (and lapsed) customers\nGenerate own leads and opportunities and follow up on any leads and referrals resulting from\nProactively own the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale:\nArrange own meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business\nNegotiate the terms of a sale (price, costs, delivery and specifications) with buyers and close the sale\nEffectively interact with the Operations team to fully and brief them on new sales/new customers\nGather and maintain detailed market and target customer information including a clear understanding of customers' business and requirements\nMaintain a detailed knowledge of the Company's products, services and pricing structures\n\nRequirements :\n\nAir Freight sales Experience ESSENTIAL\nSea Freight sales Experience ESSENTIAL\nProven track record in external freight sales - ESSENTIAL\n\nAbility to bring business, clients, contacts will be a distinct advantage but not essential WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
