Senior Marketing and Projects Officer
Location: Hybrid from our office in Stroud, Gloucestershire
Salary: £28,000 to £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Role Status: 35 hours per week
Our client is looking for a Senior Marketing and Projects Officer to become an integral part of the Meningitis Now Communications team.
This role will play an important part in planning, executing and managing marketing and awareness campaigns. You will be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality marketing materials that ensure maximum publicity for the charity’s activities and services. Along with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing messaging and ensuring their communications are on brand.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Lead on the delivery of communications, campaigns and marketing projects effectively and on time, working with teams across the organisation
2. Collaborate with digital and press colleagues to deliver integrated campaigns
3. To monitor and evaluate campaign performance and complete campaign evaluations
4. Monitor marketing and charity trends and stay up to date on industry best practices
5. Work with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager to manage resource within the Communications team and keep track of key milestones for a range of campaigns
6. Work closely with Senior Digital & Social Officer when considering how marketing campaigns will be presented visually through our online platforms
7. Work with the Marketing Manager and Director of Fundraising & Communications to contribute to Meningitis Now’s communication strategy
8. To line manage Senior Designer and Content Creator
9. Increase Meningitis Now’s profile and support the delivery of the charity’s strategic aims
10. Ensure that all Data Protection requirements are upheld

Skills and Experience
11. Experience developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns
12. Experience analysing campaigns and presenting findings in a clear and engaging way
13. Strategic awareness of how communications and marketing contribute to achieving an organisation’s aims and objectives
14. Experience of ensuring brand consistency across a range of channels
15. Experience of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects
16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
17. Creativity
18. Attention to detail
19. Strong administration skills, ability to plan, balance and cope with competing priorities
20. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with different teams
21. Empathy, often working with individuals who have been affected by meningitis
22. Competency in Microsoft Office
Desirable Selection Criteria
23. Experience in the charity sector
24. Experience creating marketing strategies
25. Experience managing/working with marketing agencies
26. Line management experience
