Mobile Field Engineer / Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sheffield (UK Travel Required)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Security Clearance Level: BPSS & SC
Company Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Field Engineer / Maintenance Engineer to join our Operations team, supporting the installation, maintenance, and servicing of Envirohub Water Treatment systems across the UK. This is a dynamic, multi-disciplined role, where you will be working on-site to ensure the smooth operation and delivery of key systems, including water treatment, temporary heating, and ventilation.
Role Overview:
As a Mobile Field Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out on-site technical installations, supporting equipment breakdowns, and assisting with general operations of Envirohub systems. This role involves UK-wide travel, with a company van and fuel card provided. You will also work closely with site agents and the Project Support Team, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, health, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out on-site technical installations for Envirohub Water Treatment systems.
Support LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) installation teams as required.
Liaise with site agents, providing instructions and support for equipment use.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and "callouts" as needed.
Maintain a strong focus on site health and safety practices.
Commission, test, and verify the performance of Water Treatment systems.
Assist with managing small teams of subcontract workers on certain contracts.Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of construction site experience.
Certifications:
CSCS/ECS Card (Essential)
Electrical/Mechanical NVQ Level 3 (Essential)
Health & Safety Certification (e.g., IOSH/SSSTS) (Desirable)
Water Hygiene Card (Desirable)
Water Treatment Experience (Lamella, Chemical dosing, Water monitoring, etc.) (Essential)
Knowledge of LEV Systems (Desirable)
Skills:
Strong IT literacy and communication skills (verbal and written).
Self-directed problem solver with excellent project management skills.
Physically and mentally fit to carry out the role's responsibilities.
Full driving license and clear DBS check.Additional Notes:
Overtime and regular overnight stays may be required.
Very occasional weekend work.
Company van and fuel card provided.
