A Warehouse Operative is needed paying circa £25k, Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, slightly early finish on a Friday. Weekly pay, no shifts, 28 days holiday, free parking, and overtime paid at a premium.
A manufacturing business in York requires a Warehouse/FLT Driver. This role has become available due to expansion and continued growth.
The ideal Warehouse Operative will come from a manufacturing, engineering, or distribution background. We welcome applications from individuals who have worked as a Stock Controller, Material Handler, Storeman, or Stores Operative.
The duties of the Warehouse Operative include:
* Kitting parts and keeping the kits in order.
* Picking and packing of goods ready for despatch.
* Updating stock.
* Booking goods in.
* Organising all incoming and outgoing deliveries.
* Working on the company computer system.
Key attributes of the Warehouse Operative position include:
* Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or stock control environment.
* Knowledge of picking and allocation of parts.
* FLT Licence (counterbalance) desirable.
* Computer literate with various systems such as Excel, MRP/ERP, Navision, SAP, Sage, etc.
* Able to work efficiently and effectively both as part of a team and independently.
