Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: Canvey Island
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Immediate start until March/April 2025)
Working Hours: 6-10 hours per day, 5 days a week (tidal working hours, start time between 06:00 and 13:00, finishing no later than 22:00)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer to join our team for a project in Canvey Island. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
On-Site Work: Working closely with teams on the foreshore, performing revetment works.
Equipment Use: Utilizing a GPS Leica GS18 for setting out slopes and excavations (line and level control) and surveying completed works.
Record Keeping: Maintaining progress records and QA records.
Team Collaboration: Working in intense but short periods with teams using very heavy plant.Qualifications:
Experience in setting out and surveying using GPS Leica GS18.
Ability to maintain accurate progress and QA records.
Comfortable working in a tidal environment with flexible start times.
AutoCAD drawing skills are beneficial but not essential.Ideal Candidate:
Used to working closely with teams in high-intensity environments.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
