Within your first two weeks, you'll have the opportunity to complete up to 35 training courses to enhance your professional growth and progress up the pay scale.
School:
- Implements ABA principles and the Pyramid Approach to Education, helping pupils communicate effectively using the Picture Exchange System (PECS).
- Provides a supportive environment for young children with autism who face challenges in mainstream education.
- Offers personalised access to a differentiated curriculum tailored to each pupil's unique needs.
- Maintains a welcoming and supportive team culture, prioritising the pupils' welfare.
- Hosts a range of extracurricular activities to equip pupils with essential life skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver teaching sessions using ABA and PECS techniques (where appropriate).
- Participate in regular training and development reviews with senior leadership.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with autism in a High Dependency Unit.
- Collaborate as part of a professional team, taking responsibility for your workload while working closely with colleagues.
- Bring an enthusiastic, can-do attitude to support pupils and colleagues alike.
