About the role: Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team, where you will play a key role in optimizing project profitability through cost control and financial management by overseeing business planning, integrating new accounting systems (Xero & Eque2), and preparing financial reports and forecasts. You will collaborate with accounts and procurement departments to align strategies, maintain a subcontractor database, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors. Additionally, you will manage contract administration, ensuring compliance with JCT protocols and PO/sub-contract terms, and maintain a register of contracts and warranty obligations. In terms of design and project coordination, you will oversee services like Revit and BIM, ensuring efficient project delivery while coordinating with architects and engineers. You will also manage compliance with internal procedures, identify commercial risks, and advise on dispute resolution. Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration. Excellent communication, negotiation, and risk management skills. Familiarity with legal frameworks, JCT contracts, and tendering processes. Proficiency in design tools such as Revit and BIM. Experience with financial systems such as Xero and Eque2 is a plus. Strong analytical skills. Willingness to travel to project sites
