The role & what you take care of:
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Multi-skilled Bricklayer to join Magna's Customer Experience and Home Services team. This position offers a varied and fulfilling routine with excellent benefits. The role requires delivering high-quality work from initial report to completion, while ensuring compliance with current legislation and meeting our customers' needs.
* The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of knowledge and skills across various trades, with expertise in bricklaying and associated works such as roofing, concreting, plastering, rendering, tiling, textured coating, fencing, and drainage.
* This role requires a skilled operative who can work independently, demonstrate a positive attitude, and interact politely and professionally with customers and colleagues.
* The successful candidate will participate in our out-of-hours on-call rota once every 10 – 12 weeks, for which you will receive an additional pay allowance.
What you need to be successful:
* Time served trade apprenticeship or C&G/NVQ level 2 in Bricklaying / roofing or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year’s post qualification experience in associated trades.
* The ability to mentor and advise other team members with masonry queries.
* You will be IT competent, as the role uses an iPad to receive, capture, record, and complete all works accurately.
* You will hold a driving license and be prepared to travel to our customer’s homes across the Somerset area.
