Nanny – 20 hours per week – Two days a week. (More in school holidays) Freedom Care is a growing company that has been providing services to parents, social services and the NHS for over 20 years. People are at the heart of our business, both in terms of the clients who receive our services and the staff that deliver them. We therefore ensure all our staff are equipped with the necessary training to perform their roles with confidence and to grow as individuals. We are currently recruiting for a Nanny for 20 hours per week. The days are Tuesday and Wednesday, this can be flexible to a Friday if necessary. During school holidays these hours will increase to 24 hours per week. Possible extra hours or days will be available. Description/Role and hours: Term Time Hours 7am – 12pm The role is to care for 2 children aged 2.5 and 4. Once arrived at the house, get the children dressed, prepare breakfast and ready for school. Transport the children to school and nursery. After drop off, return to the family home to walk the dog and do light housework duties. There may be a need to do the odd bit of shopping. 2pm – 7pm Collect the children from nursery and school. Prepare and serve dinner for the children. Help with homework and reading. Play with the children, with a variety of age appropriate activities. Get the children ready for bed for when the parents return. (Between the hours of 12pm and 2pm are your own). School Holiday Hours 7am to 7pm As above but as the children will be home, planning activities and days out. Client is currently pregnant, and therefore the nanny role will change to 3 children and therefore, maybe more hours. As a nanny it is your responsibility to take care of the children, and keep them safe. Ultimately you will reassure parents that even when they are not around, their child remains in a safe and pleasant environment. Qualifications and experience: Qualified to Level 3 in Childcare First Aid Must have minimum of two years, nanny experience. Must be a driver and have your own car for work purposes. Must be willing to get Ofsted Registered. This will be completed once you are settled with the family and Freedom will help you with this.
