We require an Administrative Assistant to join the team at Smiddybrae House within Orkney Health and Care.
The successful candidate will provide all aspects of administrative support to the team as required and will work closely with the Registered Manager within Smiddybrae House and the Senior Administrative Officer to ensure that a high level of administration support is provided.
Responsibilities:
1. Be the first point of contact for the service.
2. Maintain statistical information and records.
3. Scrutinise timesheets.
4. Work effectively as a team member within an administration team.
5. Utilise Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications:
You will need to hold a qualification at SCQF 5/6 (i.e., SVQ2, National 5, Standard Grade, O Grade, Intermediate 2, SVQ 3, Higher, National Certificate or Foundation Apprenticeship) in an administration-related subject or have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role if the essential qualification is not held.
This post is subject to membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults.
