With a strong presence across the UK and a growing foothold in the Midlands, our client is seeking a commercially astute Land Director to drive their regional land strategy, secure major acquisitions, and build influential partnerships that will shape the future of housing in the area.
Reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director, this is a unique opportunity to lead at a senior level and take full ownership of regional land growth within a company that values innovation, agility, and long-term thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Land Acquisition & Strategy:
o Identify and acquire land that aligns with the company’s strategic growth objectives.
o Lead negotiations, feasibility, and due diligence processes.
o Collaborate with planning and technical teams to unlock value and ensure delivery.
2. Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement:
o Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, housing associations, and public sector bodies.
o Develop land-led deals, including joint ventures and partnerships, to meet housing and commercial goals.
3. Revenue Generation & Land Disposal:
o Maximise returns on consented land through strategic disposal and marketing.
o Lead legal and commercial processes around land sales and acquisitions.
4. Leadership & Profile Building:
o Represent the business at events, forums, and within the regional property network.
o Act as a key voice within the senior leadership team for regional strategy and growth.
