The Corporate Finance Manager will lead the financial management of the company. They will have ultimate responsibility for the delivery of management accounting and reporting, revenue billing, and financial control for all corporate activities (as opposed to client finance).
Main Responsibilities as a Corporate Finance Manager
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with key departmental leads – Client Finance, Business Systems, Talent, Health and Safety, Mobilisation, Support Services, and more.
* Drive reporting and analytics projects forward, being the key person to bring together relevant people and ensure the reporting is aligned to the needs of the business.
* Take ownership of the master/fixed revenue tracker and ensure quarterly billing is fully reconciled and validated against expected billings.
* Ensure a seamless flow of information from the Mobilisation team to Finance and Operations so that the master billing tracker can be updated and fees align with operational and corporate budgets.
* Ensure other revenue lines and recharges are correctly billed according to the latest pricing card/rates.
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the corporate finance team, ensuring transactions are processed timely and bank accounts are reconciled on a weekly basis.
* Update the monthly management reporting packs and KPI dashboards and present them at the monthly SMT meetings.
* Ensure staff expenses are completed fully, with receipts, and costs are allocated to the correct account codes and departments.
* Implement a new expense platform for head office staff and manage its ongoing use.
* Use a PO system in line with set delegation of authority limits and approved budget spend, ensuring control, visibility around expected costs, and a seamless end-to-end process for ongoing costs.
* Scope and implement a new scalable PO system which may include an added approval layer, such as ApprovalMax.
* Ensure payment runs are done and communicated within the appropriate cut-off points.
* Maintain a rolling quarterly cash flow forecast.
* Support the CFO with a rolling business forecast to help present expected outturns for the year and enable proactive decision-making by the CEO/COO.
* Ensure financial controls and governance are both effective and sustainable.
* Prepare the monthly Support Team revenue report.
* Report quarterly Team/Department P&Ls and help the business understand portfolio analysis and financial performance.
* Ensure aged receivables are optimised and work closely with the Head of Client Finance to drive this.
