STARTING IMMEDIATELY BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT ASSISTANT CARMARTHEN Monday – Friday February 2025 – July 2025 £12.90 per hour We are currently seeking an experienced beavhiour support assistant to work in one of our partner schools. This pupil referral unit is a purpose-built environment with fantastic facilities that cater for children aged 7 to 16. Offering a personalised learning programme to adapt to individual learning needs, you will support their individual goals and maintain motivation, with the shared goal of re integration into mainstream school, further education, and employment. Working with the children, teachers and multi agencies closely, always working in the children’s best interest to create a positive learning environment, with safeguarding as a priority. You will face different challenges & equal rewards Teaching Personnel work very closely with this school and have had brilliant feedback from our staff that work at this school. Working at Pupil Referral Unit will give you the opportunity to support the children during core curriculum subjects such as Maths and English but also with more interactive and engaging lessons such as mechanics, hair and beauty, Arts and Crafts and other areas where students find interests. REQUIRMENT: Enhanced DBS EWC Minimum 5 GCSE’s (A - C) Experience working with emotional behavioural difficulties, or social emotional and mental needs previously is preferred. Driving is preferred, however public transport is located locally to the school. We would be particularly interested in hearing from you if you have Team Teach training and MAPA training.
