Senior Family Lawyer – Leeds
We are currently seeking a Senior Family Lawyer to join a highly regarded law firm in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor or legal executive with 3+ years PQE to step into a newly created position where you’ll have the opportunity to step into a leadership role and help grow and shape a team underneath you.
The Role
As a Senior Family Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling a broad range of family and childcare matters, including:
* Care Proceedings and PLO matters
* Divorce and financial settlements
* Private Law Children cases
* Domestic abuse cases, including Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders
* General family law matters, including cohabitation and disputes involving unmarried couples
* Supervise junior team members and contributing to the firm’s continued expansion.
Requirements:
* Have at least 3 years PQE in family law
* Be confident leading and supervising a growing team
* Work effectively both independently and within a team
* Be competent and willing to undertake advocacy
* Have a following (preferred but not essential)
* Be eager to work towards panel accreditation
* Have strong networking and business development skills
