We are currently looking to recruit a Sales Co-Ordinator on a Permanent basis to join the team based at our UK Head Office in Didsbury, Manchester
How can you make a difference?
As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by coordinating sales process activities, managing sales documentation, and ensuring smooth communication among team members. You will also be tying in with the Global sales team and help improve the way the team works.
What will you be doing?
Key responsibilities for this role include:
1. Managing the internal sales and approval process, scheduling of meetings, preparation, distribution of documents and follow up.
2. Processing and tracking sales orders from initiation to closing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of turbines and services.
3. Assisting in customer enquiries, sales orders and product information and managing and updating sales pipelines, tracking leads, and monitoring sales targets related to renewable energy projects.
4. Analysing and reporting on performance metrics such as tender hit rates, timing of order intake and data accuracy.
5. Liaising with various internal departments including project execution, sourcing, and logistics, to facilitate tender responses.
6. Providing administrative support by preparing sales reports, presentations,
7. Collaborating with the sales team to prepare and distribute sales-related documentation,
8. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records and sales databases specific.
9. Collaborating with the communications manager to align sales and marketing efforts and contribute to the development of marketing materials.
10. Contributing to cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at improving sales processes, promoting wind turbine solutions, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role within a fast-paced environment and will have strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work to deadlines.
You will have exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences and build strong interpersonal skills across the internal & external stakeholders
You would ideally hold a degree or qualification in business administration or a related energy related subject but this is not essential.
Other attributes we are looking for from the ideal candidate include:
11. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
12. Proficient in MS Office applications for managing sales related data and generating reports
13. Strong mathematical background, ideally with some coding experience
14. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, industry trends, and sales principles is advantageous
