Description
We're looking for a talented and ambitious finance professional to work directly for our Group CEO. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, where you'll play a critical role in business administration, financial reporting, market analysis, and more.
As a key partner to the CEO, you will manage crucial administrative tasks, assist in the preparation of financial reports, and support our finance team to ensure smooth operations of the group. Your contributions will extend to supporting analysts, conducting market research, and explaining complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. This dynamic role is perfect for someone with strong analytical and technical skills, outstanding organisational abilities, and a passion for problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide and coordinate a comprehensive business administration service to the CEO.
2. Responsible for all administrative work related to that subset of business opportunities.
3. Collaborate with and support the Central Finance team to ensure a seamless service.
4. Assist analysts in creating press releases, research, and analysis, tracking all actions and publications.
5. Deliver a high level of service across a high volume of transactions.
6. Identify, research, and resolve issues involving data processing errors.
7. Preparation of financial reports.
8. Bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
9. Perform office administration, including support as needed.
10. Conduct market research analysis.
11. Explain complex financial information to non-financial personnel.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
1. Bachelor's degree required ideally within a Financial discipline.
2. Excellent administrative skills with the ability to work accurately at a fast pace.
3. Advanced user of Excel & PowerPoint.
4. Strong analytical skills, work ethic, independence, problem-solving ability, effective communication skills, and overall positive attitude.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
6. Strong knowledge and skills, including in-depth expert knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and word processing.
7. Ability to interpret data and present key information.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while under pressure.
9. Customer service-oriented.
