Hours: Working 37.5 hours per week, with a usual working pattern of 9am -5pm, which will include weekend working on a rota basis. Salary: £24,843 per annum Duration: 6 month fixed term contract What it's like to work here Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll be leading a small team of up to 7 retail assistants and up to 10 retail volunteers. You'll be part of the leadership team at Ashridge and will work closely with the General Manager and the wider team, actively involved in making decisions that affect the whole place. What you'll be doing Your focus every day will be on your customers: going out of your way to make sure they're having their best possible day. You'll lead your team from the front, encouraging them to speak to people and listen to what they want. And also to inspire them, so that everyone who buys something knows just what a difference their contribution, however small, will make to the work of the Trust in protecting nature, beauty and history.You'll set stretching targets for the team, and work together to achieve these through the highest standards of customer service and presentation of retail products.
