We are looking for a unique and passionate individual to join our team.
We are a well-established group of practices, located across the UK and are well known for our comprehensive eye examinations, using the latest technology along with a variety of luxury and bespoke eyewear brands.
The right candidate will be confident and efficient, providing patients with the best quality of service and care alongside supporting the team in practice.
A knowledge of pre-screening equipment and Optix PMS is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
1. Interpret optical prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists.
2. Advise on lens type, frames and styling.
3. Advise on contact lenses, including their care and use.
4. Take frame and facial measurements to ensure correct frame fit and positioning.
5. Knowledge and understanding of low vision aids.
6. Perform adjustments or repairs to spectacles.
7. Select, manage and order a range of optical products.
8. Order lenses from prescription laboratories.
9. Arrange and maintain displays.
10. Liaise with sales representatives.
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Competitive package dependant on experience, including Pension contribution and annual profit share.
Job Type: 40 hours per week, including weekends. Flexibility to work across different locations is required.
